KATHMANDU (October 10, 2015) ─ A group of about 20 women gathered in Kavrepalanchok district to help fellow women survivors of the April 25 earthquake rebuild their lives. They were taking part in the Women Build organized by Habitat for Humanity Nepal on October 10. Volunteers included Alaina Teplitz, U.S. Ambassador to Nepal; Beth Dunford, USAID Mission Director and Nepali women leaders and executives from various sectors. The Women Build volunteers helped to remove rubble, interacted with the earthquake-affected families, and spread the word on Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing families with a way out of poverty through decent homes.
