Participatory Approach for Safe Shelter Awareness

Habitat for Humanity Nepal and its partner agency Architecture Sans Frontieres Nepal conducted trainings on Participatory Approach for Safe Shelter Awareness (PASSA) in Kavrepalanchok. The two trainings in different wards drew a total of 30 participants mainly from marginalized communities, single women and differently-abled groups. The objectives of the trainings were to form PASSA groups, raise shelter safety and disaster risk reduction awareness in the communities. ‪‎Habitat for Humanity Nepal‬ will continue to conduct similar trainings in Kavrepalanchok.
