1362 temporary shelter for flood affected families

Habitat for Humanity Nepal and its partner NGOs Jivan Bikas Samaj, Sahara Nepal, United Youth Community Nepal, Mahila Upakar Manch and Mahuli Samudayik Lagnubitta Bittiya Sanstha built 1362 temporary shelter for flood affected families in Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa and Banke districts. The tireless effort to serve the families hit by the devastating floods by our partners and staff, community and volunteers demonstrated our commitment to build strength stability and self reliance through shelter.

The project was funded by the disaster relief fund government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region under Flood Relief Program.

Habitat Nepal is planning a three-phase emergency relief, recovery and reconstruction response to help families hit by the floods that ravaged 32 districts along the country’s southern plains.
