Global Village

Habitat for Humanity Global Village (GV) volunteer teams travel to exciting destinations around the world.

Habitat for Humanity Global Village volunteer teams travel all around the world to help those in need. They advocate for better living conditions and join hands for the betterment of the poor.

Nepal has always been one of the best destinations for people from around the world. Till 2015, 83 GV teams involving professionals, university students, school students etc. have visited Nepal from different parts of the world every year. The GV teams come all the way from countries like U.S.A., the UK, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, China, New Zealand and Denmark  for 3 to 11 days depending on the time schedule but a standard GV build is for 1 week. Please contact the Habitat for Humanity office in your country if you want to be part of the Global Village in Nepal.

Teams from different parts of the world are always excited to visit Nepal for it is a good destination for cultural tourism. Also, the eco-friendly technology that we promote is something fresh to them making them keen to learn more.
